We have driven policy and legislative change and have been commissioned by major NGOs and global brands to drive emotional engagement, strategically build trust and produce truly unforgettable films.

Mill Road have created all of the films for the Flex Appeal campaign, founded by Anna Whitehouse of Mother Pukka and funded by Sir Robert McAlpine. In April 2024 it was announced that the Flexible Working Bill has now become law so that all workers will be given the legal right to request flexible working from day one.

In June 2025, following research from Unilever reporting that 75% of girls aged 15-17 stop playing sports during their period -Mill Road were commissioned to produce a groundbreaking advert for the Persil Dirt is Good x Arsenal F.C partnership - normalising period leaks and empowering young girls to continue the activities they love.

Our extensive work alongside charities such as the Early Education and Childcare Coalition and Pregnant Then Screwed has contributed to the topic of Childcare and the Early Years sector remaining a government priority since the 2023 spring budget. See the Gov.uk policy paper.
