With over a decade of experience in the Film Industry working on Hollywood feature films and trailers, Carly Claydon-Davies founded Mill Road to leverage the immense power of film to tackle global and social issues.
An antidote to the vacuous wall of noise we face in the digital age, Mill Road aims to produce expertly crafted, emotionally engaging films that truly move the world forward, one conversation at a time.
Our films have contributed to government policy and legislative change, been shortlisted on multiple occasions for the Charity Film Awards, won Peoples’ Choice Award in 2023 for ‘Birth in Lockdown’ – a film documenting women’s experiences giving birth during the Covid-19 pandemic -and most recently won the ‘Under £100,000’ category in 2026 for ‘If Home Is Where The Heart Is’ - a powerful film about the experiences of a group of young black men in today’s world.
We are collaborators and deeply empathetic filmmakers who work to establish a clear vision of how we can craft highly engaging content, translate complex and nuanced information into visual brilliance - and do the issues we tackle justice for stakeholders and audiences alike.
We understand people, their attention spans and how to reach them.
